25 Years! It’s 25 years since Kerry and I established Foam Distributors. What a journey we’ve had. We’ve met some awesome people.
There have been a few more positive changes in the manufacturing process of foam and in the technology used in cutting complex shapes and multiple pieces, resulting in efficiencies and keeping waste to a minimum, even though this foam is a recyclable product.
Email is increasingly used for orders, quotes, sending and receiving invoices. We still have a lot of phone contact and we enjoy the personal interaction.
We are very proud to be able to continue to supply New Zealand made foam. This is a high quality product, not to be confused with some of the inferior imported grades available. We have been purchasing from the same foam supplier since day one.
We recently purchased a large quantity of EVA closed cell from an Australian supplier. This is a top grade product from a very professional manufacturer. Other suppliers; for adhesives, packaging and freight are all locally owned companies who we have been trading with for many years.
We have a very loyal customer base, which continues to grow. We both still enjoy this work and the people we meet. We’re a pretty straight forward operation, with both Kerry and I in charge.
It’s great doing business with good people. We love it.
